Includes the original tube but the label is long gone. The reel seat is unmarked. This rod's serial number is 14426 so it was completed in May 1953. This rod was built for steelhead, salmon, and saltwater. Even if you don't plan to fish the rod (I never did), it's a cool 70-year-old relic of a bygone era. I've handled it every now and then but it's time to pass it on. I'm also selling an Orvis Light Salmon bamboo rod, one full-length tip, 9 feet, non-original tube, in excellent condition, for $250. Also rated for a 9-weight line.
